A luxurious, recently renovated two-bedroom, two-bathroom villa set on a property of three hectares, surrounded by pine forests and grape vines. Quality furniture and fittings, expert finishes and superb, natural coloured floor tiles throughout.

THE AREA:
Despite the secluded setting, the property is just a 10 minute drive to the lovely little port of Mèze, which has a sandy beach lined with seafood restaurants and a 20 minute drive to the area’s biggest beach, Marseillan plage, which boasts fine, white sand and plenty of parking. It is 10 minutes from the medieval village of Montagnac with its many 14th through to 17th century buildings, all shops and services.

The lively market town of Pézenas, 6 kms, with a rich historical and architectural heritage, is also famous for its antique dealers and has supermarkets and many restaurants. Sophisticated Montpellier, with an international airport and main train station, is a 30 minute drive.

This region, the Languedoc, is France's best kept secret. With its sleepy villages of sun-warmed stones and red tiled roofs, surrounded by magnificent scenery and herb scented hills, it is ideal walking country. It is France’s largest, up-and-coming wine producing region and there are many opportunities to taste its excellent wines.

THE VILLA:

Beautifully situated on a large property, the villa has its own lawn, garden and terrace merging with the surrounding countryside. The terrace has a teak outdoor dining setting with wonderful views and a BBQ is provided.

NB: Please note that the small terrace around the villa has no rail and is about a 50cm drop, which may not be suitable for young children.

Entry is into the spacious, light and airy open plan living area with air conditioner and a high, pitched ceiling with amazing beams. Three sets of french doors on two sides open to take maximum benefit of the lovely views of countryside, pine forest and grape vines.

Soft furnishings in restful tones accentuate the serene atmosphere. A comfortable, L-shaped sofa forms the main sitting area; four chairs form a TV area, also ideal for relaxing and looking out at the views.

 The elegant dining setting is raised up one step with a railing around, forming a separate dining area.

It’s a pleasure to cook in the ultra-modern kitchen, with top quality appliances, including induction hob, oven, dishwasher – all De Dietrich - microwave/grill, kettle, toaster, hot drinks machine


Both bedrooms are bright and sunny; one has twin beds and ensuite shower room with shower, WC, hand washbasin.

The other bedroom has a double bed and a French door opening to two steps which lead to the terrace. There’s a further shower room with shower, WC, hand washbasin.

For your entertainment there is a flat screen TV with UK Satellite channels, DVD player with some DVDs, CD player/radio, board games, books.

The washing machine, iron and ironing board are located in the adjacent garage.
NB: part of the approach is along an unmade road. There is one other house a short distance away but the villa’s main rooms, garden and terrace are private and are not overlooked. Bed linen, bath & hand towels and electricity are included in the rental.
